About

A little bit about me!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 32. At the time I was young, fit and healthy with no family history of breast cancer. So my first question was why?

It was a soul-searching time and I began to question many things in my life and in earnest I started looking at all the things I was putting in and on my body.

I immediately switched to a whole foods diet and then a few years later I started to follow a plant-based diet.

After changing my body fuel I started to look at what was in my skincare kit. I was surprised to learn that many everyday skincare products include synthetic chemicals that are known to be endocrine disruptors which means they mess with your hormones.

And so many products contain sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) which is a known skin irritant which won't do your skin any favours if it is sensitive or compromised.

In my quest for nature inspired products following my treatment, I started to create my own products with natural ingredients that are beneficial to skin.

Your skin is precious and should be treated with respect. Choosing a more natural approach has many benefits for your skin.

My passion for creating natural skincare and an affinity with nature has inspired my award winning range of handmade soap.

Each one of my products is handcrafted and the individual ingredients are carefully sourced to bring you the best quality plant-based products.

Since starting my own natural skincare business from scratch in 2013 I have won numerous awards.

My soap making courses have featured in Country Living Magazine, Crafts Beautiful, Mollie Makes and Prima.

I am proud to be a writer for Making Soap Magazine, a Huffington Post UK Blogger and a BBC Get Creative Champion.

I am an experienced tutor having taught over 700 students to make soap since 2015 and my courses are Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
