Over the years I have heard many weird and wonderful things about soap making and it’s time to dispel the tall tales that circulate far and wide.
I am a firm believer in alternative therapies for mental wellbeing whether they are used alongside traditional therapies or not.
One of the many things that I love about making soap is the abundance of natural colours that are available. And the beauty of the natural colour choice is that we already have many of them stashed away in our kitchen cupboards.
Soap moulds come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes and there are so many possibilities for your finished soap that choosing which moulds to use can be almost as exciting as making the soap.

In a previous post I wrote about what you can expect if you attend one of my soap making courses. It’s always a fun day making new friends and we usually have a bit of “bake off” style banter too!
I launched my soap making courses in the spring of 2015 in response to popular demand and it has been a truly amazing experience. It is really rewarding to receive so much positive feedback after teaching a class.
